How much does it cost to play for Platinum IE?

There are two costs involved to play on a Platinum IE team.  Our club charges a registration fee per player, and each team charges a training fee, and other costs related to team expenses such as referee fees, tournaments team plays on, uniforms, and other costs.

Do you offer scholarships to eligible players?

Yes we do!  Each team has the opportunity to offer a scholarship to cover up to 90% of the club dues.  In addition, teams may scholarship a player based on their needs.

Do you have professional coaches?

All of our coaches are licensed by Cal South, US Soccer. Our coaches are required to adhere to California and Federal laws for Health and Safety codes and have passed rigorous training for Concussion & Head Injury, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, and SafeSport Training.

In addition, all of our coaches, team managers, and club staff have passed National Background checks by the Department of Justice.

All Platinum IE coaches must possess a minimum of the 7v7 license, and must pass a background check.

Uniform Costs

Our players wear the Nike US SS Academy Black and White jerseys with the Nike …shorts.  To complete the set, players wear the Nike …socks.

What leagues does Platinum IE teams play in?

Platinum IE teams play in Coast Soccer League.  In addition, higher level teams play in California Regional League (CRL), National Premier League (NPL), and may play in other available leagues as they become available in the playing circuit.

Where do Platinum IE teams practice?

Platinum IE teams practice at our private facility; IE Soccer Complex in San Bernardino.  In addition, teams may practice in other sites that are geographically viable for a particular team.

Do Platinum IE teams play on Sunday?

Yes. All Platinum IE teams play most Sundays. League games require teams to play on Sundays as well as tournaments teams participate in during the year.

How far do teams travel?

Most of the teams games are held at our private facility in San Bernardino, CA.  League play requires teams to travel to the opponents home fields.  Depending on the level of team play they may require travel of up to a one-hour travel time.

Younger teams are usually scheduled to play locally within the Inland Empire.

In addition, teams participate in tournaments held out of state.  These tournaments are team dependent and parents are given notice prior to travel.

How long is a Platinum IE player commitment?

Our registration program is from April to August of the following year.  We ask players to remain part of a team until the teams State\National Cup competition.

How often do teams practice?

Platinum IE teams usually practice twice a week; Monday – Wednesday or Tuesday – Thursday.  Teams may choose to have a third day practice or ask their team members to participate in our Performance Training or Skills Training as part of their team training.

These programs, in addition to Goalkeeper training are free to Platinum IE members.

Do you reward players with academic grades?

Yes! Our Players Academic Club of Excellence (PACE) recognizes all student-athletes with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher.

Our PACE recognition events are held during the year and qualified student-athletes receive a special training shirt as well as other gifts.

Do you offer college guidance for high school age playes?

Yes!  Each high school aged team meets with our College Liaison coach twice a year and information on players continuing their soccer careers at the college level.

Scholarship and Financial information is distributed to players\parents to help them maneuver the collegiate system.
